Why Hydrafacial?

Hydrafacial uses patented vortex-fusion technology to cleanse, extract, and hydrate simultaneously. Here's what the clinical evidence shows.

Deep Pore Cleansing

The vortex suction technology extracts impurities from pores while simultaneously delivering hydrating serums. Clinical studies show significant reduction in pore size, congestion, and comedonal acne after a series of treatments.

Acne Improvement

A 12-week multicenter study found that a series of six Hydrafacial Clarifying Treatments increased the proportion of patients with clear or almost-clear skin from 20% to 65% by investigator assessment.

65%

Antioxidant Infusion

Hydradermabrasion with polyphenolic antioxidant serum delivery significantly increased epidermal antioxidant levels compared to manual serum application alone — the vortex technology enhances active ingredient penetration into the skin.

Collagen Stimulation

Research demonstrates that hydradermabrasion increases epidermal thickness, papillary dermal thickness, and fibroblast density while replacing elastotic dermal tissue — histological evidence of genuine skin rejuvenation.

Immediate Results

Significant improvements in fine lines, skin smoothness, radiance, and hydration are visible immediately after a single treatment. Studies report statistically significant improvements across all parameters from the first session.

Zero Downtime

Unlike ablative procedures, Hydrafacial involves no peeling, redness, or recovery period. The treatment is gentle enough for all Fitzpatrick skin types (I-VI) and can be performed year-round without sun sensitivity concerns.

Usage Guide

What to expect from your Hydrafacial.

01

Cleanse & Peel

Your aesthetician begins by cleansing the skin surface and applying a gentle glycolic/salicylic acid peel to loosen debris and dead skin cells. This resurfacing step prepares the skin for extraction and serum delivery.

02

Extract & Hydrate

The patented vortex suction tip painlessly extracts impurities from pores while simultaneously infusing moisturizing serums containing hyaluronic acid. You can see what's been extracted in the waste container — a satisfying visual.

03

Fuse & Protect

Antioxidant serums and peptides are delivered deep into the skin via vortex fusion. Your aesthetician selects serums targeted to your specific skin concerns — whether that's brightening, anti-aging, or acne control.

04

LED Light Therapy (Optional)

Red or blue LED light therapy can be added to enhance collagen production or target acne-causing bacteria. This painless add-on amplifies results and takes an additional 10-15 minutes.

05

Post-Treatment Care

Apply SPF 30+ sunscreen before leaving. Your skin will look immediately refreshed and glowing. Avoid exfoliating products and retinoids for 48 hours to allow the skin to fully absorb the treatment serums.

Pro Tips

  • Schedule treatments every 2-4 weeks for optimal cumulative results
  • Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin to maximize treatment time
  • Hydrafacial is an excellent "gateway" treatment before events — no redness or downtime
  • Pair with microneedling for enhanced collagen induction (schedule at least 2 weeks apart)
  • Consistent hydration between treatments amplifies results
  • Your ALYZE aesthetician will customize serum selection based on your skin analysis
  • Safe for all skin types and tones year-round, including during summer

Important: Avoid Hydrafacial if you have active rashes, sunburns, or open wounds on the treatment area. If you are using prescription retinoids (tretinoin, adapalene), discontinue use 3-5 days before treatment. Inform your aesthetician of any skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities. If you are pregnant, certain peel solutions and serums may need to be modified.
